On Thursday 14th November Primary One pupils took part in activities to raise awareness and their understanding of Diabetes. The pupils showed a great interest in what diabetes was and how those with diabetes manage their blood glucose and enjoyed some sugar free, low carbohydrate treats.
Mrs Donnell paid a visit to the class and gave a very informative and interactive talk about her role as a Diabetic Nurse.
