STEM AWARE
23rd Nov 2018
The P5s and P6s had a visit from the wonderfully scientifically minded team at STEM Aware this week. The P5s learnt about electricity, built circuits and investigated insulators and conductors. The P6s were investigating states of matter. They posed the question "which material would melt the ice the quickest?' Would it be sugar, salt or road salt? In the afternoon the whole school attending a science show where Mrs Kingh was shooting air, Mrs Cunningham was burning £10 notes and Mrs McAleer even sent a teddy out of a rocket! Look on the news page to see photos.
