In term one, P5/6Cu joined with the P6 class from Strabane Primary to learn about Flight. The pupils met on numerous occasions and covered subjects such as UICT, Literacy, Art and Science. They created movies about holiday destinations, investigated gyrocopters, sketched birds of prey and made kites. The final day together saw the pupils get to fly kites on Sion's school field. Despite very wet feet there were screams of delight at getting the highest flying kite. A very enjoyable experience for all. 73% of pupils agreed that they enjoyed these sessions.
