September - October
We have been very busy in our classroom and outside during September and October. We have been learning all about The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Halloween. We made symmetrical butterflies and edible caterpillars out of grapes. We created graphs about our favourite fruit. We even made our favourite fruit out of clay. We had good fun making edible witches hats. We covered an ice-cream cone and a rich tea biscuit with melted chocolate and decorated it with marshmallows and smarties. They were yummy!
During maths week in groups we designed clocks using sticks, stones, seeds and leaves. We even made symmetrical pictures using anything we could find outside .
