In term 1 we were researching Claude Monet and his paintings. We soon found a recurring theme in his artwork; bridges and lakes/ponds. We even noticed one in our school hallway! First, we used masking take to design a bridge on our pages. We created some beautiful ponds using watercolours, focusing on blues and greens before adding lily pads and flowers with pastel colours. Once dried, we peeled back the masking tape. Our very own masterpieces!
