In our class we have been learning about fairytales. We have really enjoyed focusing on Jack and the Beanstalk and we were very excited to see a new beanstalk has appeared in our reading area. The children have enjoyed retelling the story through role play in our small world area. In our construction area we have created lots of different castles. As part of this topic we have also looked at many of the different features of Castle and looked at castles close to use in Northern Ireland. Using J2easy app we created our own image of a castle. We have been taking a fairytale book home each week as an extra reader.
