Our special Chinese Celebration Day began with a whole school Assembly. Along with Xiao Ching, our Mandarin Chinese tutor we were delighted to welcome Xiao Ching's colleagues from the SW Confucius Hub and Linda Beattie from SW College. Awards were presented for spoken Chinese, art work, best class and poster design. A special scroll was also presented to our school. Everyone was completely amazed by the wonderful Peking Opera spear dancer and the Changing Face lady. What a delight to see such fantastic performances right in our school. P3 to P7 took part in Chinese themed workshops which were greatly enjoyed by everyone. A massive thank you to Xiao Ching for all her organisation of the event.
