P1/2H Autumn and The Gruffalo

We had fun going for a walk around our school grounds looking for signs of autumn. We read "The Gruffalo" by Julia Donaldson.

Do you like our little hedgehogs made from clay and twigs?

Did you know hedgehogs like to come out at night?

We wore our coats to keep warm on our autumn walk.

We made our favourite fruit from clay and painted it.

Some trees do not lose their leaves. They are called evergreens.

Yummy, blackberries.

Not sure if I like blackberries.

I made a Gruffalo.

We're making a log pile house for the snake from the Gruffalo.
